Danny Boy

My son Danny died 2 month 10 days after he was born. He died of S.I.D.S. I didn't name him Daniel, I named him Danny. I try not to listen to the song, but when it comes on without my knowing it about to play, it hits me all of a sudden.

You Are The One by Whyte Shadow is really depressing. The song didn't make me cry but the music video brought tears to my eyes.

You Are The One
Whyte Shadow

Let me be yours tonight
Hold me in your arms all night
Leave the worlds far behind
Take me high to your paradise

chorus
You are the one I love
You are the one I need
You're the only one in my heart
Baby come save me

The touch of your hand
Can take all the pain away
And the sound of your voice
Heals my soul
Forever I'm yours

chorus

Baby I love you
And I can't live without you

I can't imagine how life would be without you
You make the world complete
You mean the world to me

chorus
repeat

Come and save me...
`Cause I want...
To be your love

Oh God, definitely "Tears in Heaven" by Eric Clapton. (Just read the lyrics someone posted, and I'm crying already)

Also there's this country Christmas song about this little boy wanting to buy his dying mother new shoes, damn stupid song.

Excuse me while I go get a tissue....sniff...

"My Wife with Champagne Shoulders" by Mark Isham, which is part of the Pure Moods CD. I love the song and enjoy listening to it because it reminds me of my childhood - - I cry because I know that deep in my heart I will never be able to return to those precious days of happy youth and innocence. Now they are just memories trapped in my soul and mind.

When I was younger there was a wonderful lady who saved me from the streets. She was like my mother and when she died it almost killed me too. One of her favorite songs was Bette Middler's "The Rose". She used to play it in her office at the shelter. When I hear it now, I always just break down and cry.

I get wicked sad when i hear Baba O'Reilly by The Who because it reminds me of the playoff game my team lost on Halloween my first year of Pop Warner. We went undefeated and then lost our first playoff game. Baba O'Reilly was played in our highlight video for that game. it was a crushing loss, and it was tougher since i was young then, so it still makes me sad. I'll never forget that season though.
