Is thier a way to give money to my spouse so the goverment doesn't tax it?

All gifts to spouse are free of the transfer tax. However, if that property earns income, then the income is taxable.

As a gift. I believe you are allowed up to $10,000.00 tax free. You already paid the tax when you eaned it. When you paid your taxes.
