I know I have dreamed about my deceased mother but for some reason, I can't remember them. Is it possible for the dead to communicate with the living?

No, but what does happen is that demon spirits mascaraed as deceased loved ones to fool the living. The Bible (KJV) refers to this as "familiar spirits", which is to say they are familiar with the details of passed loved ones lives, and use such information to try and deceive the living who are unaware of "the wiles of the devil"

My brother died recently, so I feel your pain, and I think that he trying to communicate to us. I saw a masculine figure in my living room at five in the morning. All of the windows and doors were locked, so I knew it was not a burgler. This figure looked like my brother and he had something in his hand, but I could not get a good look at it he just disappeared. He has been in my dreams a lot. My mother knows what he showed me. He left me a lot and he is showing me how to deal with it all little by little. He is speaking to me alright.

Christians and atheists can agree for once in answering, "NO", to this question. Christians say the dead remain dead until Judgement Day, and atheists say death is final. Either way, the dead cannot contact the living or vice-versa. Sylvia Brown and Johnathan Edwards are frauds of the worst type.

Well i am not sure if it is possible, but my cousin and i wrote a poem about are uncle that has past away(we sent it in to a contest thing), and on the same day we got a fortune cookie Hers said "your writings will soon be admired by many", Mine said "the only way 2 love something is to know it can be lost.", but the weird part is that we live in different states.....we thought he may be communicating with us but we are not sure,

Yes, it is possible. Obviously, once passed beyond the veil, they have other things to do, but it is not uncommon to hear of a loved one 'checking up on' people. Many besides Sylvis Brown, et al, have experienced this.

Most definitely.
You might want to keep a notebook next to your bed for the next time you dream. This way, when you first awaken, you can immediately begin to write down what you have just dreamt.

No. It is usually a state of mind. Dreams are subconscious thoughts.
