I go for length (i am taller...5' 8"), fit (how my butt looks), design. color and the weight of the jeans. I spent $150 my 7's and they are the BEST jeans I have ever owned!! They make me feel great! I also own a pair of Paper Denim and they are great too but the jean weight isn't as heavy.

I look at the quality and the price and the most i'll pay is around $45 only if its really good quality and actually fits.

quality and fit are most important. Brand names don't mean sqat if they don't fit. and after all you can pay $100 dollars or more but they wont last longer. I say don't pay more than $40. I mean they are just blue jeans after all. A very cheaply made material :)

Cheap Walmart jeans. You'd have to be smoking opium to pay any higher.

$12-$15

Construction of the jeans, the strength of the denim, and how they look on you. I won't go over like $75, and they last a longtime too!

$31.79
I look for a classic, bootcut style and they have to fit right. My current jeans are Levi's 517's (men's, because they discontinued the women's) and the above number is the cheapest I've found them for, including tax.

$70ish tops.
I look for deep indigo dyes, 100% cotton (no spandex) and no pre-worn or aged denim.
Low rise and Wide Leg.
High Quality Zipper.

quality, and fit are most important!
if you love how they look and fit, price shouldnt be a concern because jeans are essentials, and something you can wear everyday.
