Standard std screening at a specialised clinic will not show up genital warts. You would need a blood test for this. Nothing can be done to cure it once you have the virus anyway so best wait to see if anything happens. It can be months after exposure. Usually a very itchy area that you may confuse with thrush will then develop a lump or a few lumps. These usually disappear within a week or so but come back again months later. If this happens speak to your GP as some types of this condition can predispose to cervical cancer (small percentage). Topical treatments can get rid of persistant warts but not cure the virus. Hope this helps.

Genital warts and the warts people get on thier hands are not similar. You can't get them from any contact, direct or indirect, with them. If someone who had genital warts used the towel for the same purpose as you there's still little chance of contraction. The wart discharge would still have to be moist to even possiblt infect you.

It's probably irritation or something else but, you cannot get genital warts from a wart on your hand or someone elses hand. They are different types of warts and do not like the enviroment of the genitals and prefer fingers and toes.

Genital warts look like a wart, not a pimple.
They take more than 5 hours to appear.
Carry tissues in your purse.

Genital warts are a separate virus than the ones on your hands.

Sounds to me that you may have an ingrown hair, they can show up in the strangest places, I seriously doubt its a genital wart, those are considered STD's. But a little peroxide on it and see if that doesn't dry it up a bit. If it bothers you a lot, see your family doctor.

They're not transferred that fast. It's most likely a pimple or irritation. Genital warts are a sexually transmitted disease.
