Proper control of deer population must not involve cougars but the government should provide proper measures.

I live in Indiana right near the Illinois border, and I've never heard anything about it. I seriously doubt that cougars were release to control the deer population, lol.. Perhaps, people who purchased them as exotic pets have released them. I know there have been some stories about snakes and gators being released into non-native areas by former owners. I remember a story about Anacondas being found in the Everglades, just for the heck of it, I'll look it up!
PS I hope, I don't see any cougars when I'm out running!

i'm not sure about illinois, but i live near the Kansas/Nebraska border and people are seeing more and more of them around...there's even been a few hit on the road but the government still won't admit they're here...i guess it just makes me wonder why they won't admit they're here and if they didn't release them here, where did they come from?
