yes it is normal to have to urinate every hour. It should get better in the second trimester and then you will get the urge again at the end of the third trimester. When i had this problem i would try to hold it until i really had to go. congrats on the baby.

Unfortunately, this will probably continue throughout your pregnancy. Most likely, your uterus is tilted so it tends to "lean" on your bladder. Having a baby that is continuing growing and gaining weight on top of that doesn't help either! The best thing really to do is to start Kegel exercises. This will tighten the muscle in that area which sometimes causes incontinence. It will also strengthen that same muscle which you will also need for pushing with once you start delivering your baby. That muscle is easy to feel- just pretend your stopping your pee midstream- hold it for 10 seconds and release. Do this at least 50-75 times a day. Good Luck!

This is a very common problem early in pregnancy. Sorry to say there is nothing you can do about it. It should slow down a little bit during your second trimester but will return when the baby drops for delivery. If by chance you are carrying twins it will not change. Good luck and congrats!

Sorry to tell you, but it won't stop until the baby is born. It comes with the territory. I had to pee like crazy too. I worked in a huge office and was at the other end of the bathrooms, so I wouldn't pee until I really really really had to, which was a big mistake, gave me a severe Urinary Tract Infection, so it was not worth holding it in, or not drinking recommended amounts of water.
As long as you are actually peeing, it doesn't burn or hurt, or have blood in your urine, you're absoluletly normal. If you think you might an infection let your Dr. know asap, he'll test your urine.

yeah, unfortunately it continues, you will have some "down" time.. but otherwise, plan on bathroom breaks for some time... by the way, some advice.... don't hold it, or try to wait .... I am seven months and leak when I sneeze, mmm.wonderful, but true... not all the time, but if I have to go the bathroom, even a little bit... changing the underwear. not fun. anyhow, just be forwarned, later in pg, controlling the keeping it in, with the pressure on your bladder gets a little tough.

good luck!.. it's all worth it

That happened to me too during my first trimester however when you get into your second trimester you do not urinate as often as the beginning.

During the last trimester it starts up again.. I am 31 weeks pregnant and I been having to go to the bathroom alot especially at night.... Do not worry it should get better.... (Good Luck)!!!!!

Yes it is very normal. I think it comes from pressure on your bladder--there may be a hormonal component as well.

That is part of pregnancy. There is nothing that you can do to control it. It gets worse as you get bigger and further along.

Go to your gynecologist, it could be a bladder infection, or a "fallen bladder" either way in your condition you need real medical advice.
