Look on your old prescription and it should indicate if you have any refills, or call the pharmacy where you bought it and they can tell you. Seems the standard is for the doctor to give you a year's worth of medication.

your birth control pills usually have a perscription on them that counts down the ammount of times it can be refilled, if this was your very first time on them, then your doctor may want to see you and ask about any side effects before giving you a years script, but usually the script is for a years worth of refills.

Yes you do. In case you have no refills remaining and can not wait, the pharmacist can call the doctor for you and request a refill. In most cases this works. I know some docs will approve a refill for bc's. Then there are some docs that if you have not seen them in a while, they will not approve it. Good luck!

Yes you do, however most Health Departments or Planned Parenthood offices will help you get it for no or reduced cost. However, in most places you don't need a prescription for the morning after pill, it's available behind the pharmacy counter, you just have to ask.

It depends on what state you live in. They all have different laws on birth control.

For example.. In Nevada you can get birth control from planned parenthood without a checkup. In California you can get plan B at Rite Aid without a prescription - it just depends what state you live.

Look up your local planned parenthood www.plannedparenthood.com

Yes, but sometimes you can just phone your doctor to get a prescription faxed through to your local pharmacy. Saves having to go in and see them - but they'll charge you the prescription fee next time you go see them.

if you have a current prescription, you should get a years worth of refills. If you do not have insurance you can go to planned parenthood or your county dept of heath services to get it for free/low cost.

Normally yes. To get a prescription you have to have a full "female" exam first. See your doctor or go to a planned parenthood.
