Him and his ex were married in ?1991? and he doesn't have any record of it, they divorced 3 months later and he says he cannot remember the date. Where can I get the info? They have not had any contract since the divorce. I know it sounds crazy for me to want to know but you know how anniversarys are and such.

You can check online for the county he was married in to get her info from the marriage cert. If the county they divorced in is different, you will have to check that county on-line also. Some counties block Family Court issues in their privacy act, but you could obtain them by mail for a fee.

Contact the county clerks office where they lived. You should be able to find a listing online and even a website. A quick written request from him will get him a copy of the divorce decree at a cost of around 10 bucks for a copy fee. He only needs to know his ex's maiden name and his own plus his orginal marriage date to request.

Alot of people don't recall when they get divorced it is not a happy memory many want to recall later.

BTW he will need a copy if he ever decides to marry or buy property often they request proof of divorce to remove credit liability from a past marriage for property purchases.

He`s probable not divorced, If he were he would have the papers, the lawyer would have made sure he got them, maybe he didn`t show up for his divorce, or maybe his wife desided, to cancel the divorce for some reason or other, I know I would, I wouldn`t pay for a divorce, Its not like I could ever remerry again with my belief, so why bother paying a lawyer.

You really shouldn't involve yourself with a divorced man, generally.
