Go to www.sun.com and download the JAVA runtime environment. Then install it. Then 'enjoy' Yahoo games!

(Microsoft stopped bundling Java support with WinXP that's why it [java apps] doesn't 'just work'.

Yahoo requires Internet Explorer to run there game servers. Internet explorer has been have many issues since early last week. There is a new virus out there targeting Internet explorer. Look up Internet explorer virus to see what I am talking about. Click the first link and it give you some good details on the matter. Microsoft is planning to put out a patch for this vulnerablity on Oct 10th. In the meantime try using Mozzila and go play games on some other server untill the patch gets distributed for IE.
Sorry for the bad news and good luck
