Yeah it can be changed, but I would sell that piece of crap before it starts to crankwalk on you.
Unless you have a grip of extra cash laying around...then go out and buy an 1st generation 4g63 and put the 2g head on the 1g block.

Michael K is right, I used to have a 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS-T Turbo and it was the funnest car ive had in a while. But yes, you can change the emergency/parking brake lever handle as well as the shift knob. Enjoy!

Yes, of course. All parts are easy to replace. The car can be built from the ground up at a junk yard. Find a junk yard car like yours and practice on it first. It saves you time, and gets your aggressions out on the "other car" instead of yours.

Want some advice too?
Don't listen to the Eclipse haters out there. It is a fine vehicle and can perform with the best of them. Every car has bad reviews somewhere. One mans trash is another mans treasure.

Yeah you can change it, just out of curiousity, do you have the GS-T or GSX?
