I have black ants all over my yard and side walk. they are building huge nests around my plants and trees and it is killing them. How can I eliminate these pests outside?

Your local hardware store or big box chain (Home Depot, Lowe's) carry some excellent insecticides that should do the trick. That's the least expensive way.

i don't think ants kill plants, however animals that want to eat the ants might be.

boraxo mixed with a little sugar and sprinkled where the ants traffic will take care of them quickly. it is a hazard to other animals, though, but then so are all those commercial pesticides.

My Mom uses boiling water.Pour it into the Ant hill. If that doesn't work go to a garden center,and ask them.

buy an insecticide, you can also put some honey with poison in a corner of the house, they will eat it and die after some time, after that other ants will eat those ants and they will die too, works perfectly
