there is an old phrase that has been around since at the very least when my parents were my age (30,000 years ago), it's "... a dime a dozen". usually in the pretext of "excuses are...".
being as this phrase has been around for quite some time, i wonder how inflation has effected it? perhaps it's 2.50 a dozen now, I'm not sure, that's why I'm asking you all. also, what would the cost be for just 1?

i would hope no more than a buck. so I'd say 90 cents for a dozen, 8 cents individually.

Lets see...I'd just go ahead and get a dozen, they're cheaper that way. As for cost of excuses, that all depends on the offense and if youv'e found a cheap lawyer.
