How soon after you have had sex on your 14th day would you know if you are pregnant or not? I am trying and just would like to know.

As a medical assistant and through expirience after having a stillbirth at 5 months maybe i can help. If you're trying to get pregnant have sex close to your period days. Since your ovulating. Secondly, sperm takes about 72 hours or 3 days to travel to the uterus. Once that happens. The baby or the zygote will begin to grow and form. The baby's heart starts to beat at 18 days. Well...you can get prego at any time it doesn't really matter the day. Your highest chances are anywhere from the 12-16 from the start of your period. So if you had your period on the 1, and it ends on the 6, count from 1 and your most likely to get prego on the 12th. Its 12 days from the start of your period not 12 days from when your period ends. But like i said you can get prego at anytime! My hubby and myself had sex on the 12th day and sure enough i got prego that day!
