I see you have never heard about the experiment years ago where they taught a gorilla to read and write and use a keyboard to type words to communicate then?

That's ASIDE from the fact that animals, contrary to YOUR belief, CAN learn things(ever seen a dog?)

Reading, well, that's been proven as I said, years ago(where HAVE you been!?)

As for speaking...the only reason we can speak the way we do is due to our vocal chords. Other animals have vocal chords too, such as primates, dogs, cats, birds, etc. Because they are different to ours, they "speak" in a different way. It is well documented that primates(a good example, although there are MANY more)use a plethora of different vocalisations that each have a different meaning. Another good example are dolphins, who have in the range of around 1000+ different vocal sounds to communicate.
Besides, have you never heard of a strange creature called a parrot? A mynah bird?? They can actually mimic our words! Freaky, huh?

I really think you should study the outside world more. You'll be amazed at what's going on out there if you actually take the time to look.

They do "talk" Just not in a dilect or language we would understand. Just watch some of these shows on diffrent anmails who live in packs. How do you think they know what their part is in the pack. The best example is a show i saw on dicovery i can not remember what it was called but part of it was on spotted dolphins when an Intuder (bottle nosed dolphin) came into the parea the pack starts to well best way to discribe it was screach at the other dolphin untill it left..They were most likely telling the other dolphin to leave...Also dolphins and whales are capible of learning i mean they have had to learn tricks. as far as reading I dont know

It's not true that only we are capable of learning or speaking. Many animals learn, and gorillas have been taught sign language and use it to communicate not only concrete concepts like nouns and verbs, but feelings as well.

We don't know. What does it prove that we are capable of these things. If not for the last die-off 75 million years ago, we wouldn't be here. Seems like an awful lot of work for a perfect designer to wait 4.5 billion years for man to come along. (or 14 billion years actually)

Good question and I hope you will search for answers. This question has been asked from time immemorial and some men presume to know the answers. THis was the question that started all the socalled "holy" books of every single religion.

All creatures learn otherwise no creature could walk, swim, fly or whatever they do. They all have to learn, what your asking is just the same as saying: Why can't we fly when birds can? Well because we don't have wings, everything/one has diff. talents and purposes.

God made the earth and then decided to fill it with people in his own likeness. He made humans have demain over all animals. Read Genesis in the Bible and it will answer your questions.
