Bees, they know how to do it. There is an audible "pop" sound that emits from the males.

There was a movie with Debra Winger called, I think,. "Black Widow" in which she was an FBI agent investigating this string of deaths of men right after they married this woman (codenamed the Black Widow). It turns out she was killing the males right after they mated - so that is an non-arthropod example since this claimed to be based on a true story.

Well my twin, salmon (both male and female die right after mating) and a few other random deep sea fish are all of the animals that come to mind right away.
Mmm, salmon sounds good, I think I'll go and make some for dinner.
****************
Although in many insect species (bugs and spiders) the male dies immediately following copulation, they are not in the animal kingdom and therefore are not animals (which is what the question asks for).

Actually Mathew, you're wrong about the praying mantis! The male only dies if he can't run (or fly) fast enough to get away from the female before she decides she's hungry again ... or if he mates while hanging on to her side, instead of her back - in which case she's likely to munch on his head while he's still mating with her..!
I keep mantids, and I've just successfully mated two pairs - one pair had no problem, because he ran away afterwards! The male of the other pair jumped off her back and just STOOD there like a nitwit - she, naturally, pounced on the nice juicy bug standing next to her ... I put my hand in there and waved it around a bit, that put her off and she let go of him! He's still all right, he's just waiting to be released back into the wild now, so he can find another female to mate with..!!
Except for the few hours spent mating, mantids have NO concept of familial responsibility!! A bug is a bug, is a bug, is lunch...!
