That has happened to me.I had a pain come on out of nowhere.I went to a foot specialist and he said it was a strain because of the arch under my foot.He put a padded support under there and I had to wear it a week or so,but it did the trick.Try the support on your own.You may save a trip to the Dr.Put it under the arch of your foot.

well..........b4 you go to a doctor you need to rest your foot. Put it in hot water. Keep all weight off................lay off of CC practice for a few days and then if it feels better, take it slow. If not consult a doctor.

planar facitis.inflammation of the planar fascia muscle, which runs along the bottom of your foot.get more supportive shoes.also it helps to freeze a water bottle and roll it across the floor with your foot.i kind of massages it and the cold helps the inflammation.

I don't know what happened either, but you might want to see a doctor who knows about sports-related injuries. Did you land wrong while running, by any chance?

Good luck!

ok i think you should go see your doc as i think you may have sprained or torn your achillies tendon. You didnt mention if was swollen or not? or any discolouration? as tendon damage doesnt tend to swell or bruise whereas muscle damage does! if pain hasnt subdued in week it is time to go see a doc
