How do you get rid of opossum's without hurting our pets?

Go down to your local hardware store and ask for a quantity 1 (one) Remington 12 gauge. Should solve all your problems.

They usually only come around at night. Don't leave food & trash outside for them to find. Keep your pets indoors at night. My sister had a family of possums living in her garage - really cute & they never bothered her cat or ducks.

Call your city animal shelter, they'll put a trap down.

Why bother? they eat stuff that does not include your Cat or Poodle, so if you have been diligent as you should be with RABIES SHOT FOR YOUR ANIMALS THEN YOU HAVE NOTHING TOP WORRY ABOUT!
