goggles, or they jump in feet first (yes whales have feet didnt you know that ?) actually they hurt their eyes all the time, out in the arctic you see tons of polar bear eyeballs on the beach. its really sad, but you can donate to the polar bear vision fund, 1-888-bear-eye , for only $0.25 / day you can sponsor a blind polar bear, its a good writeoff too
