Well I'd have to say head on down to Gatlingburg,TN which is where most of my hubby's family who are from Eastern KY tend to go when they are on vacation.

Im not sure where you live in KY, but I also live in KY, and the best thing to do on fall break in KY is leave KY......thats the best answer I can give you.....

Head up to Brown County (Nashville) Indiana......... Close to Bloomington if you are of the college age set and this small town is full of autumn FUN . The foliage is always beautiful and prices are still LOW..... Horseback riding, lots of shops and great places to eat. hayrides. Autumn in the air !!
