Depends on your flow. If it's heavy, i would say every hour or two, and if it's light, maybe everytime you go to the restroom. Either way, be on the look out for leaks or odor.

You should find out for yourself.
Nobody can really tell you that, unless they know exactly what your period is like.
If your pad is pretty bloody, you should change it.
There's no right or wrong here. Just pay attention, use your common sense, and change it when you think it needs changed.
Hope I helped.

a pad is supposed to last up to 8 hours or else it could start to smell, also if you bleed more and it starts to fill up you will need to change it, twice a day is not enough, you can get infections, smell, or just get feminine itching from it... note im answering this on my boyfriends screenname

Well.that obviously changes depending on your flow however....it might be better to change it more often to help you stay and feel cleaner. Plus it also depends on how thick the pad is. Always change it when it seems to be bloody.

You change it as often as is necessary. Twice a day doesn't seem much, but maybe you don't bleed heavily. Change frequently if need be to avoid embarrassing odor or leaking accidents.

i'd change it everytime you use the restroom cuz you wouldn't want a dirty pad. depending on the flow you should use different types of pads
