I think the upper limit of having too much sex (if it exists) occurs if it is causing trouble for you such as:
physical issues - chafing/blisters
unsafe behaviour - STD's, unwanted pregnancy
that sort of thing...
Generally I'd think most people feel that they don't get enough :)

My record is 9 or 10 times in 24 hours. You can have too much sex though if you are experiencing irritation or injury or letting sex interfere with your daily responsibilities. If you're going to have sex 10 times in 24 hours, invest in lube.
