Oh, sure, silly. If you have a bad cut or scrape and pour whiskey on it it will kill some of the bugs until you can get the proper stuff to doctor it, it doesn;t kill bugs by drinking it, just make you sicker then you'll have not only the scrape but the hangover too.

Not if you have a cold because alcohool doesnt kill the cold virus. In fact nothing can. Dirnking alcohool would only get you drunk and maybe make you feel a little less sucky while your sick, it wont make yout better though.

You fight the virus by having a healthy immune system.
The effect of alcohol would not really help but would probably take you rmind off feeling like complete crap with a virus.

Fraid not, nice try though. You would die long, long, before your BAC got high enough to kill the virus. Tempting, but alcohol will probably make the situation worse, weakens your immune response and dehydrates you.

I used to live by those same words!
But it doesn't work......sadly enough....
The quantities of alcohol that you consume aren't enough to kill viruses and germs,only enough to suppress your immune system.Drinking is only going to make you more vulnerable to the lil' creepin' nasties!
The amount of alcohol that it would take to kill these invaders in your system would be more than enough to also kill you many times over!

GETTING FULLY DRUNK REALLY WOULD NOT HELP
but....try this recipe (my parents gave me this when i was little....i still use it)
2 oz of the highest alcohol content RUM you can find
(i like Sailor Jerry)
1/2 teaspoon ground garlic
1/2 teaspoon iodized salt
1 teaspoon lemon
2 teaspoons honey
3 oz BOILING hot water
~drink it while its hot and mix it together in order....rum goes first~
then go to bed & COVER UP...you will get the chills!!!

No, alcohol devastates the immune system and severely dehydrates you making it easy for the bacteria to thrive. And you think you feel like **** now when you're just sick, wait 'till you're sick and hung over.

um well no achole of any sort or drug can kill you brain cells and eventulaly kill you imune systeme but it might kill the virus if you drink enough but i wouldnt especially TEENS SHOULDNT DRINK if u are a teen that is
