Believe it or not back in the 90's when skateboarding got it's big rise in popularity there were a lot of the old school thrash metal bands that were skaters some of them may sound familiar..
Metallica, Anthrax, Exodus, MOD (surfed too), Suicidal Tendencies, Agent Orange, Nuclear Assault, Faith No More, Mr. Bungle, Flea of Red Hot Chili Peppers (maybe), Flotsam and Jetsam.
Metallica even had their own skateboard line for a short while and Pushead (who did the cover art for Metallica's single covers) was a skateboard artist.
