I am 15 years old. I have been takin BC for a month now I just took my first pink inactive pill. Could someone tell me roughly when my period will start.

Probably tomorrow, or the day after. I usually get on the second inactive pill.

It's normal for your period to start any time during the placebo week. Mine usually starts on Wednesday, I'm a Sunday start so that's the 4th day. If you don't stop bleeding by the end of your plabeo week or miss your period, start your new pack. Never ever go more than 7 days without active pills because then you are risking pregnancy. It's normal to sometimes miss a period on BC so, if you do take a pregnancy test and talk to your doctor if you miss two periods in a row or you test positive but, don't worry HBC is very effective especially if taken at the same time everyday.

Also, it only takes 7 days for you to be protected from pregnancy. That's what your pill pamplet says and that is what is correct.

You only take the 'sugar pills' for 7 days but I seem to remember my period starting a day or so after I started those pills, and lasting 3 or 4 days.

With all the different pills out now, it may be different. I haven't used them in a decade or more...I switched to the injection instead (no period).

eventually it will start during the placebo pill. It may take a few cycles. although some girls dont bleed much or at all when on the pill, especially one so young as yourself.

IT SHOULD START SOON, Stop worrying about that just be sure not to have sex at lease until you get a complete 2-3 months supply in your system. OH and always take ON TIME and at the same time.
