The best choice is the service that has the best signal in the places you use the cellphone the most. So you should ask your friend, co-worker, related, etc and see what services they use. And see if they have good signal.
In general, Verizon seems to have the best signal. And Sprint seems to have the cheapest plan with most feature plus very easy to get extra discount if you call them up and ask for it.
Just read this Sprint forum http://www.sprintusers.com/
and you can see how people can get the plan so cheap and get extra tons of stuff like free incoming minute, free text messaging, extra 10% off, etc by just calling them up many times.

If Altell provides service where you are get them. They are great. They have great plans and if you change your plan they don't make you renew your contract. They also have a call network that is not in your actual network where you can pick 5 numbers from other providers that you call often and make them part of your mobile to mobile network. I live in Pittsburgh and go through tunnels all the time and don't lose signal. Hope this helps.

Okay, I know what you mean. I have never hear of CELLULARONE, whatever, anyway, I love Verizon Wreless, they are so great. I have had them for a long time now, and I love them, and In my 6 months with them, only one Dropped call, and it was in the middle of the country.
They have great phones, great price too.

Take a look at this web page.
http://www.jdpower.com/telecom/ratings/wireless/index.asp
JD Power ratings is something the providers use in their advertising if they win it.
