At times what you assume as bad luck at that point of time might actually turn out to be a good thing that happened after all. Like missing a flight that you desperately needed to board and the flight crashing. Bad luck is only something that is seen in a very myopic sense. When you see the snowballing effect of that particular event after a long time, you will most probably be glad that it happened. Before judging the event, let some time pass by to actually see its effects. Then judge. Hope this little belief of mine helps you. Have a lucky day!

If you look at it like this; when you are experiencing difficult situations it is your karma and your opportunity to exhaust or purify that bad karma. So be careful not to react negatively so as not to create more bad karma (Karma means "action" and the effects that come with..)

well you learn from the difficult things that you have to go through in life- so you might now think its that way at the time, but later on you might realize that you learned something from a bad situation.
