The train ride from Vancouver to Kamloops through the Rocky Mountains is unforgettable! The 2 cities are on opposite sides of the province so its quite a trip.

to get from vancouver to kamloops you can take the Greyhound bus, just look it up on the web. there is a lot to see and do in vancouver...i'm not too sure about kamloops. In vancouver you should check out Robson street, lots of cool shops and stuff. Also commercial drive and main street if you like the grungy ethnic unique kinda scene. Check out the revolving restruant at Harbour Center, and Stanley Park...maybe go for a drive up to Whistler or something. look at yahoo travel, they can help you a lot!

Go to the web sites for both cities, then you should be able to find what you like in both places. You can take a bus, plane, train, rent a car between the two. Both are very nice cities, but prefer Kamloops more. It is not so fast paced. Have a good time..

Go to a Kamloops Blazers game. It may not have the glitz of the NHL; but there's something special about seeing some of the world's most intense hockey being enjoyed by some of the world's greatest hockey fans, all for about twelve bucks.

Depends what you like. Kamloops is a decent sized city & offers a lot of attractions for tourists such as yourself. I'm sure your brother will know where to go when you arrive & know your interests. They have a wildlife zoo 10 miles out of town that's really cool. Tons of shopping & restaurants, theaters, casino, bingo halls, bars, arena, bowling alleys, museums, and beaches. Have a great holiday!
