Download Irfanview... its free and easy to use...

http://www.download-zone-free.com/irfanview/

once its downloaded, open the program, go to file... then open... then open up the picture file you want to resize... after it opens, go to "image", go down to "resize/resample" where it says width ... put in 500 (or whatever you want)... click okay... if its resized right, then click file... go to save, a pop up appears, click yes... thats it

You could reduce the resolution on your digital camera but I wouldn't recommend that. Instead I would let them be high resolution and then use a program like Picasa from Google to scale down the images.

You can get Picasa for free at http://picasa.google.com.

Picasa has a great feature where you can select a bunch of images at once and then export them to a new folder. When you do the export it asks you if you want to resize the images while exporting. Simply enter the width/height you want your pictures to be and they will resize to the new size as they are placed in the export folder.

You can then use the new resized pictures to upload to MySpace.

You need an photo editing software such as photoshop or you can use photobucket but I'm assuming you are uploading it on myspace and the picture is to large.

Easiest way is to right click on the picture and email to yourself. When you do this, windows will ask you if you want to automatically re-size, choose yes. Open your email and then save as original_smaller or some name like that.

paintbrush, atributes. Keep the numbers even; for instance, if the first number is 100, make the 2nd number 50, or your image will be scewed.
