i would like to know how to network 2 computers as i have a router modem and that takes the network cable area so where do you plug them from there??

Modem plugged into router, and machines plugged into router.

Hook a network cable from your broadband modem into the download jack on the router.
Run a network cable from the router to each of the two computers
Go into the Control Panel and run the Network Wizard on both computers
Done
