An all-purpose fertilizer like Miracle-Gro is fine. But slow down to once a month in winter. Days are shorter, light levels are low and plant growth naturally slows. Resume weekly feeding in March or April when plants begin to put on new growth.

I usually do not feed in the deepest part of the winter.
I stop after a real good repotting and feed in the end of September, and we all live on plain water until March, then I feed what is called DARK WEATHER FEER FOR A FEW WEEKS IT IS 14-0-14, THEN i Ease my plants into regular Miricle grow or Peters, who ever cost sells for less, for the Summer!
