That sure is a unique idea. I never heard something like that. It is great that you have such respect for those singers who helped music so much that eventually itself created into the music we hear today. I think Sinatra is a great singer and will never be forgotten. R.I.P. I think your idea is really good and unique. I hope getting it won't hurt too much! Good Luck!

Yes and no... I have to say I haven't seen that tattooed but I have friends that use "Frank Sinatra" as a random statement anytime conversation stops. I fear the with his growing popularity the thought of tattooing him will become more common, just because your idea is unique now doesn't mean it always will be. Try to keep yours unique by having it drawn for you and adding other elements to a less well known photo.

Well, I hate to break your unique idea but I have 3 friends who have Frank's picture tattoed. What can make it unique is the portrait you pick out, like a friend of mine has him wearing a hat, another friend has him smoking a cigar and my other friend has it with a huge smile. It also matters who the artist is and what good of a job he/she does. I have seen several Frank Sinatra portraits in the International Tattoo Magazine, done by very experienced portrait tattooers.

If he is your idol and you are that big of a fan that you want him tattooed on your body why in the world would you care if 1 or 100000 people had one? I know there are people out there with Sinatra tattoos... with rat pack tattoos ...etc... get one because you want it and don't worry about anything else

Why would you ever consider such a thing? Chet Atkins has long been my mentor, but I'd never consider having a tattoo of his image put on me.
I once thought of having a guitar tattooed on my left shoulder, but thankfully, I sobered up first.

I think it would be unique, but just make sure you get a really really really good artist so it won't be messed up.

get one and you would be the first i heard of lol. :-) have seen many tatoo's none of good ol Frankie so go for it and be different tatoos are ment to express who we are mine do.
