Sometimes. It doesn't matter who you vote for, it's the electoral votes that really count.

Of course I vote.

After the last election, I had several anti-Bush friends tell me that they waaaanted to vote, but didn't. Maybe my lazy anti-Bush friends alone wouldn't have made a huge impact, but what If everybody's lazy anti-Bush friends had decided to vote that day?

For one day every four years, give up your individuality. Be a tiny part of something enormous. Stop caring that your little voice won't be heard above all the others, and be happy to be an element of the clamor. At the very least, it feels right.

no i am to young, but i am also a canadain so i couldnt vote here anyway, even though i am a permant resident. so unfair! if i could vote though i totally would, its sad how some people dont even care about what happeneds in thier country, i mean if more people voted there would be a greater ( or less) chance that we would have a different president. its annoying to me that some people that can vote dont vote but some people that cant vote want to.

Yes. Every vote, especially for independent or non-major party candidates, sends a message. In my case, I am telling the major party political machines that they do NOT represent me or my values.

Absolutely. If I don't vote, I have no right to complain. If I don't vote, what did my grandpa go fight in WWII for? If I don't vote, I might as well go live in Cuba!
