i have a million channels on digital cable and i don't even know if MTV2 is on there or not...MTV isn't what it used to be...plain and simple...i do have some really cool music channels though...they don't play the videos but there are really good songs on there. I couldn't tell you the last time i watched MTV...it just isn't what it used to be...it shouldn't even be called music television..i've watched MTV2 at a friends house before, and the videos on there are pretty much crap anyway

MTV = Music Television? Not any more. That's why people don't watch it any more. And, some cable carriers don't allow you to "simply flip the channnel to MTV2". That's an extra channel choice you pay for.
And I bet some of you posting here are even too young to remember when MTV played videos all the time.

Probably because originally MTV started out as Music Television...and now it's simply television with shows that play some music (should be renamed TVM)...but anyway...some people also do not have MTV2 on their cable programs. So that is probably why they complain..they miss the good old days.

Because MTV means Music Television is my guess I just listen to my radio.

cause originally mtv used to play music all the time, but now all they show are crappy dating and reality shows. and the reason they dont just change the channel is because u have to have digital cable to watch it and not everybody has it

maybe not everyonme have that channel MTV2 like my dads t.v. doesn't. I watch MtV sometimes
