I am not real good at predicting ovulation, but I have noticed some bad cramps during the time it is supposed to be. Does anyone have those during ovulation? I have 3 kids, but we never really had to work for those, this 4th one is proving difficult to achieve! I am experiencing the egg white type discharge, actually yesterday and now today have the cramps. Thanks,

This could very well be ovulation. Charting helps - the day your period starts and stops, as well as any cramping and change in discharge. I often cramp on the side I am ovulating from.

Best of luck! You can also hit the iVillage TTC message boards for more info - they have great resources!

yes people can experience cramps in the front during ovaluation on either side or on both....or in the back on either the left or the right...for me well since i've been on the pill i dont feel that anymore cuz on the pill you are not supposed to ovulate so i guess it's working but all jokes aside when i wasn't on the pill i could feel this pain or twinge called middleschurmz it's a german word for middle and cycle..ovulation is the middle of your cycle and that cramping or twinging is your ovulation.
ps if this doens't go away you might have a cyst on your ovary.

By the way there is a fertility calculator on MSN.com under womans health.

It worked for me.
