I am a former member of 'Mensa' and had to endure a nasty test in UCL (London) for hours to have my IQ tested.
The IQ is set to an index of 100 for each country and it is designed to measure an intelligence factor.
IQ is a relative scale and if you can imagine a bell then the majority of people are at the top of the bell for IQ (=100).
Each side of the bell tails off which is where you get fewer and fewer people. The very extremes of this 'bell curve' are people with an IQ in the top and bottom 1-2% (Mensa is for top 1-2%).
An IQ of 107 is a notch above average but to be certain and have the proper test, try a psychological test of even mensa.
I must warn you, the test will leave you with a bad headache - I really felt bad after I took this test but when I got my result (given as a score which equates to an IQ) of 155, I was put in the top 1% IQ for the population.
I say former member because I have not paid my subs and I did not find the groups very good (most people there are quite irritating and have an ego problem - like me really).
By the way, on some IQ standardised tests, you cannot get over a certain IQ due to the number of questions in the test and the methods used to evaluate your score. I would severely question the credibility of some answers who quote scores much higher than 160 - on some tests this score is just not applicable and provides proof of a lie.

108 is just above the average I.Q., but what may be more important is E.Q.. Average I.Q. is 100. George Bush has an IQ of 96 while Bill Clinton has a 182. My I.Q. was 187 when I was 17 but is now only 142, which puts me at the genius level, or so they say. I beg to differ. IQ generally goes down with age, has a wider range among men, and maintains a more plateau level among women. So there are more stupid men and more intelligent men than women, but, there are more women at the average level. A fact from which you may make many assertions. EQ is more important in the real world. Good luck my friend.

Generally 100 is considered average and over 140 genius, so 108 is ok, age isn't really a factor

It's actually the perfect IQ score...it means you are a normal, great guy, not a howling vegetable, but not an arrogant Einstein either. You're like the baby bear's porridge -- you're JUST RIGHT!
