Internet explorer does it too. I use Avant browser and it even does it. I have been turning off every sound my computer makes and I have not gotten lucky yet either. Every page that comes up it goes bloop like water droping in a pot that is half full in the middle of the night while I am sleeping. I hate it.

I even thought it might be my firewall and even tried turning it off.

I hope you find the answer so I can get rid of it too.

I just checked help and then searched on Microsoft and I have everything turned off that they say to stop the sounds in webpages. But nothing about the sound when it changes pages..

Guess no one else knows either. Maybe it is java. or something..
