Gatinha82,
He probably meant to, but he got cold feet. Most men mean well at first, but the next day they chicken out and don't follow up. Don't be to up set he was probably a jerk anyway.

I once talk to guys and ask them your question.. and they said that sometimes that is just the simple question to keep the conversation going, it could be somekind of "barometer" of how available you are.... they don't call you back probably because in that sort time, let say night.. they ask that question for at least 4 times to 4 lady...and they gonna call you if you are really have special things for them.. don't be disappointed if they didn't call... you can always ask the same question dan did the same thing... cherreee up girl

Oh, honey, that is the oldest question in the book. It's just a way of ending a conversation, or a date, but nine times outta ten they have absolutely no intention of calling because that would mean that they would have to commit to another conversation or date and that's not what they want. Sorry, girl, he's just not that into you. If it makes you feel any better, it happens to ALL of us. Better get used to it...

Well every time I ask for a number I tend to loose it and spend a week tearing the house apart looking for it.
So If it helps just think of him having to get his place cleaned up agean!

Maybe he chickened out because he thought you were too good for him. Maybe he thought it over and thought he was too good for you. Maybe he lost the piece of paper with your number on it. Maybe the phone company shut off his service because he hadn't been paying them. Maybe he went out of town on a business trip. Maybe he got laryngitis and can't talk. Maybe he got lockjaw after being bitten by a rabid dog. Maybe he hooked back up with his ex since he saw you. The point is that it is not always you that is the problem so don't take it personally.

Perhaps he lost it. If he asked you in the first place, it means he is interested in getting to know you better. If you don't hear from him in another week or so, give him a call. Then if he does not show much interest, find someone else who would appreciate you better.

Well this question is in the wrong category but if you really want to know, he either lost your number and is to macho to go find you and ask for it again(which in that case your lucky), or he just wanted to see if he could get it.

He could have lost the number

He could have changed his mind

He could have decided to call someone else

He could have had a family emergency

He could have been asking to be polite

He could be chicken

No way to tell for sure.

Maybe he wanted to be nice but really isn't interested. Maybe he's shy.
