no,if you are a gay, you really meant to be a gay!Nobody has the rights to humiliate anyone whatever sexual preferences and attitudes he had!By teasing, if might not be a big deal to someone who tease another kid but a matter of fun, but they do not know how hurt it is wether it is true or not!Even he tease a real gay it is hurtful! So that must be avoided that might lead to a serious results between the kids and a trauma for the kids, psychologically!

No more than calling you a monkey makes you more or less likely fond of bananas. You might in fact like bananas, but you don't because someone calls you a monkey. It has nothing to do what other people say. Not even your parents can _tell_ you you are gay, just like they can't _tell_ you to like bananas. Only you will decide if you like bananas or not. These kids are just copying their parents or older siblings by using whatever words they think are insulting or hurtful. It doesn't mean they "see" something about you that you can't.

I am no expert, but I have seen it happen. It is very important for parents to teach their kids not to tease other kids. Developing a bad self image in grade school is extremely hard to erase in life. Whether its weight, looks or sexual orientation, it affects you forever and can influence your future.

I think sometimes kids pick up on it and pick on the homosexual because thier own gaydar went off and they want to hide it.

7 of the 8 guys who tortured me in highschool are gay the other died of aids but then he was a IV drug user. He was the most effeminate man I knew. LOL
