I've been using Comet ever since 1962 and believe me, it's better than Ajax!! If you want to add a little bleach on your floor or stain or wherever you are going to scrub with Comet, and that works great too! I use it in the bathroom toilet, on my kitchen floors, counter tops, everywhere; just be sure to rinse good because it is soap!

Ajax, My brother sent me a report form Consumer Reports magazine that tested a number of cleaners-comparing ajax and comet directly-Ajax-for the $- and the better effectiveness-not a poll but a series of tests they did-thats your answer!

Barkeeper's friend. But between the two..comet. I have Ajax now with bleach and after I use it I blow little blue pellets out of my nose. I think that may be dangerous!
