I'm going to re-partition my hard drive. I own all the software, so that's not a problem. But I understand that the hard drive will be totally wiped clean. What's the best method to store for future use my creations: pictures, sounds, music, videos, web pages, calendars, documents, e-mails and faxes sent and received, etcetera?????????

I'm going to re-partition so that I can have 2 operating systems on my pc: ME and XP. Since I got XP none of my periphials (scanner and printer) work the same and some of my favorite software is unuseable.

Please give details how to save my stuff to CD, DVD, or floppy or some other means - but not online!

Thanks in advance!

you can use an external hard drive if you have alot of data, they sell pocket harddrives for around 100 bucks for 80 gigs. (i personally have a 60 gig portable harddrive from western digital, and they're fantastic.) These can fit into your pocket so its travel ready. But if you have data greater than 100 gigs, i suggest you get a larger external hard drive, these are bigger and not easily portable.

I dont' know why your using ME, sorry to say but ME is in my opinion the worst operating system Microsoft has developed. I would go with Windows 2000 for a Windows ME substitute.

Actually You can by an external hard drive and save every thing there. Or you can go to Best Buy and ask the Geek Squad to save everything to a Large DATA disk and show u how to install everything after u get ur computer back.
