I find some people seem to answer and ask more questions than others, yes I am one of them, I just want to know what drives you?

I am addicted to it because I love helping people out with their problems. I also think that I am good at helping others out (must be, I get quite a few best answers, at least I think so). I enjoy seeing what questions others come up with. I don't ask too many questions as I want to keep my points and work my way up (I am almost at level 5) and I want to see how high up you can get to (I have only seen people get up to level 7). It is loads of fun to answer questions too. It kills time (does it matter that this is almost the only thing I do online besides check my e-mail and ocassionally look for things on search engines?). It is also calming to me (especially since I have the radio on while sitting here).

I'm personally not 'addicted' to answering questions on Yahoo!Answers. I've been very active because it's an excellent source of entertainment, observation, experimentation, satisfaction & insights of unique perspectives. This medium, to me, is exceptionally gratifying as a resource to measure levels of awareness of the world around us. From the trivial to the most profound subjects, it is extremely interesting to communicate without the need to associate. The freedom of interaction in this forum is splendidly biased by each and every individuals selection to delve only into items of interest & ignor the perfect examples of the fact that there are, indeed, dumb questions!
Thanks for asking! ;-)

I do it to wind down, usually after work. I like it. I ask less than I answer. I like helping people out. I'm nearing level 6 and I'm determined to get there today. I'm having my wisdom teeth out in three hours and its keeping my mind off that. Sort of.
