My computer wasnt responding and so I restarted it. But when i disconnected my iPod from the computer it froze and i cant do anything with it now. It just says do not disconnect and i cant do anything to it. I cant turn it off, it is just not responding to me. Please somebody help me. I have done everything on the iPod help page. Help!!!

hold menu and center for a few seconds
if not hold center and play for a few seconds..
if it still doesnt help look on apple.com for the support guide and how to restart

Just reset it. It's the least you could do. Works for me. If nothing happens, go to the nearest Apple Center and have it checked.

Hold the middle button and the bottom one at the same time till it resets

toggle the hold button on then off and then hold down the center and menu buttons for 6-10 seconds, or go to apple.com

no worries, mate!
just reset it. it's happened to mine before. i cant think of how to reset it righ toff teh bat but it is in your manual.
if nothing works give it overnight to fix itself. usually that helps as well, and if all else fails go to apple or wherever you bought and claim your warranty or they will fix it. =]
