It depends on body type. I have curves, so I like a little flare to balance the look.

I like flared jeans for myself even though I haven't ever tried on skinny jeans. If the person that is wearing them is a little bigger -flared. If they're skinny- skinny jeans. It really depends on your body shape and what your wearing the jeans with.

I'm into skinny jeans at the mo, but flared works way better on my body as it balances out my thighs!

skinny jeans are in this season, but they only look good on slim people... flared jeans are a bit dated, I think...boot-cut jeans are slightly wider at the bottom and more flattering than flared... if you want to be cutting edge... try a trouser cut jean with cuffs...

flared-I am so pissed those skinny jeans are coming back. their name describes the only people they work for...I'm not fat, but I do have a curve or 2, so they look awful on me! Fashion designers have GOT to realize that there are those of us below 5'10" and weight more than 110 lbs! lets just grab out big blousy sweaters and sholder pads and take fashion back to the ugliest time ever! ugh! I need to shut up, I'll probably be wearing it all within a year! oh well.....

I dont' like a big flair. I think a boot cut or a little bigger leg makes the line from the hip to the bottom of the leg more poportioned. It doesn't accenuate the hip area and call attention to it. I feel skinny jeans are just another fad. I go for the boot cut/ slight flair.
