No, it is much too complicated. In order to extract the DNA, you would have to first break up the plasma membrane and nuclear membrane, and then you'd have to separate the DNA from the cellular debris.

You an get a sample of your DNA in a dish. Just spit into it. That is real and viewable.
If you want to test it further you need expensive test equipment.

yes actually there is....and what you have to do is use rubbing alcohol and spit and, the alcohol has to be cold, and you mix them together slowly in a graduated cylinder and after about 10 minuets you should see your DNA...its whiteish colored...and man is it cool.....im pretty sure this is how the experiment went....its pretty close.....
