I would have to say the Computer, cuz it helps me enormously (even if it wasnt part of my job lol)....it helps me to keep in touch..to keep track of things, the amount of things you can learn from the internet and everythin is just countless, so i find it pretty amazing. But then again, i am a geek. :D lol

then some inventions were begat because of problems in language and communication
- writing
- printing press
- telephone
- postal system
- telegraph....
