Household ammonia mixed in equal parts with warm water. Let ring sit in mixture for 30 to 60 seconds.

Plain old Soap and Hot Water does a great job. You can even scrub the engravings with an old toohbush.

I use dish detergent and water in a small sauce pan. Let them boil for about 10 mins and then buff with a paper towel.

You can buy the cleaning liquid, cleaning cloth (they really work!)...or liquid soap and a small toothbrush. Trust me.
