Be creative by giving her a yellow rose(sign of friendship)before the dance and just let her know that you would like her to accompany you to the dance.Don't panic make sure you are relaxed and cool.Talk to her as though she was just a good friend of yours and the rest is history.

Say this "Hey, I was wondering if you were going to the dance on saturday?" IF SHE SAYS
YES: "Cool, So you wanna go with me? I think you're really cute and i'd really want to go with you!"
NO: "Awww come on please I really wanted to go with you!"
(but don't badger her, just ask once)

Juat tell her that you want to take her to the dance. Tell her you think she's cute and why you like her.
