I have been on the Depo for about 4 or more years with no problems but the lady that used to do my nails got pregnant ON the Depo. She had acually even gotten another shot while pregnant because she didnt know. I would imagine this mean you can get pregnant before getting your first post Depo period.

Yes you can, it happened to me. However the pregnancy resulted in miscarriage. It was approx 7 months after shot, I am not sure how many weeks I was when I miscarried. I got pregnant 2 more times after that both ended in miscarriages before I had my daughter. My miscarriages are thought to be the result of being on depo for 10 years.

In one word - yes. After depo is stopped, you will start ovulating again at some point. Your period only happens if the egg that released does not get fertilized. If you have unprotected sex around the time you started ovulating again, then you can definitely get pregnant before you have any periods.
