The only thing that needs to be done is to pull up a lawn chair and watch the trainwreck.

What needs to happen? Think long and hard before you do this. From experience, I was 17 when I got married. We were both very immature and had no idea what we were doing. We were infatuated with each other. After 31 agonizing years that have been filled with heartache, joy and determination, we are finally enjoying our marriage. This takes alot of commitment. Marriage is til death do you part. You can't go into it with the idea that if it does not work, you can get a divorce. It is not an option. God never intended for it to be that way. Think long and hard before you say "I do". but most of all pray very earnestly for God to lead you in the right direction.

They need to slow down and get to know each other. Wait a couple of years. If the feelings are still there after those couple of years then by all means i wish you the best of luck. Never rush into a marrige. I did just to get away from home and it didn't last wait, get to know each other, see if this is truly the person you want to spend the rest of your life with. Its easier to get married but tougher to get a divorce (and a lot more costly). Finish school if you haven't already, go on to collage, get a carreer, then get married.
But wait until you have the means to support a family. Your way to young. Live a little before you make that big step.

Don't do it. You are too young. Marriage should be entered after you KNOW yourself. You are not ready when you are still children. Whether you can or can't I recommend you BOTH wait until you know what you want out of life. You have NO sense of self at that age. I knew that when I was 17, and I was proposed to 10 times before I married at the age of 23. WAIT. That 5 years made a world of difference in my life.

Depends on the laws where you live. See the local office that issues marriage licenses. In the U.S. that would be the County Clerk's Office.
